The girls' friends, bff and all come over for study time, jamming sessions or simple play time.
Making sure they stay outdoors makes for snappier clean-up, more space, easier monitoring and we still maintain some form of peace and calm for the adults.
BBQs are the easiest and as the girls get older, more and more BBQs come along.
We have a cosy corner terrace and with 5 daughters, there is always use for additional rooms and space. We have created a small study with a small garden up in the attic.
Our next project at home is an outdoor room and this cheerful bench might be just the thing for a quick weekend project. Will update soon.
I can imagine having breakfast with the girls in a quiet retreat like this. Even having tea while writing my stories or reading up Agatha Christie on a Sunday afternoon.
Best of all, sharing a cup of latte with Rudi after work when all the girls are asleep. With candles giving an aura of an enchanted midnight garden.
This is where everything slows down and you take time to smell the jasmine in the air and walk barefoot on the lawn.
